Ministry Day in Sunny Kenya
Jambo!
The first thing we did this morning was meet with the women's sewing project where we were reunited with friends we had made at the retreat. Cyndi led the Bible study. After lunch we visited another sewing project conducted by ITeam missionaries. Then it was on to a tour of Eastleigh, a neighborhood in Nairobi where many refugees live. Finally, we met with SIM missionaries to hear about current projects that involve refugee ministry in the Horn of Africa. We are starting to process how Northwood can be more involved with refugees in Nairobi and Minneapolis. Even though it seems like an overwhelming task, we are encouraged by what is happening here and excited and hopeful about what could be accomplished in the Twin Cities. We do serve a big God.

Amazing! We are really enjoying the stories and can't wait to hear more! It's freezing here today,
-17 this morning. We have been praying for you all every day. Luke loved the pictures of the animals from your safari adventure and asked to see them again and again.
