Toddlers, Fellowship and Banana Bread

Today started with pouring rain as we travelled to New Life Orphanage to spend time with the beautiful children there.  We spent 2 delightful hours holding, playing, feeding, tickling, and helping with potty training.  New Life is a wonderful ministry for rescuing Kenyan orphans.  

Then we dashed through rain and puddles to the SIM compound for a last refugee fellowship gathering. Cyndi taught the kids while the rest of us attended worship - except for Grant who wasn't feeling well.  Pray for him.   This was our final opportunity to say good by to our new friends from the fellowship retreat.

Then it was off to Ami and Dotun's home for banana bread and tea and a great conversation about NEXT YEAR'S TEAM!  Something for all of you to be thinking about...  =)
